Kathy Harmon-Luber is a self-taught, award-winning photographer. She has exhibited her photographic images at numerous galleries, museums and public venues both nationally and throughout California. Her photographs have been seen in several publications, including the Washington Post, Best of Photography Magazine, New Mexico Photographer, Whole Life Times, and more. The Public Relations Society and Media Access Awards have also recognized her work.

Kathy says of her passion for photography: "An explorer at heart, I have traveled with camera in hand, desiring to possess the fleeting images of the mystery and drama of nature that surround us. While the world around us evolves at a panicked pace, the abiding light and peace of sacred natural places remains. In stillness, between thoughts and the bustle of life, alone with my cameras, I am deeply aware of the moment when images become a meditation on film and are transformed to art. Through my photography, I hope to share the elusive, moment of peace and fragile ethereal beauty that my camera sees but the human eye often does not. My work emphasizes suggestion rather than detail, seeking to portray a series of dream-like, illuminated landscapes as symbolic of that which goes beyond the imminent, which subtly intimates the spiritual nature of all things."

All images are taken in natural light (without flash, filters or computer enhancement). They can be special ordered in almost any dimension. Kathy also has an extensive portfolio of other photographs, so please be sure to inquire.
